Tucked quietly into the lush surroundings, this spacious, 2 story Mountain Cabin features the quiet serenity of the Canadian Rockies…but close to all the outdoor views and activities that Banff and Jasper National Parks are famous for.

The Ranchman Cabin can accommodate up to 6 people with its three double beds. This halfround, wood sided cabin features a first-floor bedroom with one full size bed and adjacent full bath with shower. The second-floor loft area, split in half by the enclosed stairwell, features a full-sized, private queen bed on either side.

Walk out the front door to a covered porch with towering views of nearby Coliseum Mountain. Step out the back door to your own stone patio, complete with firepit, chairs, picnic table and gas BBQ surrounded by a pine, spruce and aspen forest. Don’t be surprised when the deer, squirrels and pine marten share this outdoor space with you!

Indoor Activities

If indoor activities are more your style, the Cabin features full wireless internet and a flat screen TV with satellite service.

It also includes board games and a kitchen full of all the necessary pots, pans and utensils to cook a gourmet meal…or enjoy a coffee around the wood stove in the center of the room.

Within a short drive of David Thompson Country attractions like Abraham Lake and its famous Ice Bubbles, Crescent Falls, Ram Falls, Bighorn Dam and a host of area lakes and rivers and hike, The Ranchman Cabin at Coliseum Mountain Resort is a popular “home-base” for many visitors to the region.

Internationally renowned Banff and Jasper National Parks are just a short drive west with access to such popular destinations as Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, the Columbia Icefields, Athabasca Falls, Sunwapta Falls and the Banff and Jasper townsites right at your fingertips.
